A WEDING FILM EXPERIENCE
My purpose as a wedding filmmaker is about more than creating something beautiful — it’s about preserving something deeply personal. Your wedding day holds some of your most heartfelt moments, and being invited into that space is not something I take lightly.
The small moments matter most to me. These are the pieces of the day that often pass quickly but carry lasting meaning. When you feel comfortable and fully present — not performing, not aware of the camera — those moments unfold naturally.
I approach every film with intention, building a connection with you so your film feels uniquely yours. My hope is that your film doesn’t just bring you back to how the day looked, but how it felt — that it becomes something you revisit on anniversaries, share with future generations, and treasure long after the celebration has passed.
Once you sign the contract and pay the retainer, you'll be officially booked! As your day approaches, we’ll talk through timeline, meaningful relationships, and the moments you’re most excited about, so that I'll be able to capture your wedding day in a way that is most authentic to you. I'm always available for any questions you may have along the way.
On your wedding day, I'll show up calm, steady, and attentive. I’ll gently guide when needed, but most of the time I’m quietly observing, paying attention to the in-between moments, the subtle glances, and the laughter when no one’s directing you. You get to be fully present. I’ll take care of preserving it.
After the celebration ends, I begin shaping your film with care. I listen closely to your vows and speeches, weaving them together with the moments that carry the most emotional weight. You'll receive a teaser film shortly after your wedding day, and your full wedding film a few short months later.
This is the part I love most. Anniversary evenings. Sharing it with parents. One day, maybe even with your kids. Your wedding film isn’t just for the week after your wedding — it’s for the decades ahead. A reminder of how it all began and how it felt in those first moments.
After the day has passed, your wedding film becomes the only way to step back into it. To hear your vows again. To see the way your parents looked at you. To relive the laughter, the movement, the emotion in a way photos simply can’t capture. The day itself moves quickly. The film is what allows you to return to it — not just how it looked, but how it felt. For many couples, it becomes one of the most treasured pieces of their wedding long after everything else has passed.
Yes, I do. Super 8 adds a nostalgic, textured feel that pairs beautifully with digital footage and brings an added sense of warmth and timelessness to your film.
If you’re interested in incorporating Super 8, just mention it when you inquire and I’ll include full pricing and details in your custom collection.
Absolutely. I understand that a wedding is a significant investment, and I want the process to feel manageable and stress-free. I’m always happy to discuss and accommodate the payment options that work best for you.
I’m based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and regularly film weddings throughout Iowa, Minnesota, and the surrounding states. I’m always open to traveling wherever your story takes you. Whether it’s a hometown celebration or somewhere a little farther from home, I’m happy to create a custom travel proposal for your day.
