About ME

Hello!

I’m a wedding filmmaker, husband to my wife Maggie, and someone who genuinely loves capturing life’s moments. When I’m not filming weddings, you’ll usually find me watching a great movie, exploring a new coffee shop, or planning our next trip. I’m drawn to quiet moments that feel authentic and unhurried, which is why I love wedding videography so much. On your wedding day, I try to bring a calm, steady presence — someone you feel comfortable around, someone who adds peace instead of pressure.

Hi, I'm Josiah Culpepper

My approach is rooted in feeling over performance. I don’t believe you should have to act for the camera. I’m there as a quiet observer and a supportive friend — gently guiding when needed, but mostly paying attention to what’s already unfolding. The small glances, the laughter between moments, the way your hands naturally find each other — those are the moments that tell the real story. My goal is for your film to feel honest, effortless, and unmistakably you.

- Signe & Andrew Libbon

"On the wedding day, Josiah was very considerate, bringing a sense of peace and joy as he captured the most meaningful moments."

- Taylor & Brandon Krantz

"Josiah was incredibly intentional in everything he did and created such a calm, comfortable presence on a day that can feel overwhelming. He made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to be fully present and ourselves throughout the day."

- Allison & Levi Poppe

"Josiah is very communicative, and kind. He made us feel so special before, during, and after our wedding. He made it evident that he was honored to work with us and capture our day. We could not recommend him more!"

This is my wife Maggie! We met our Junior year of high school, and we've been inseperable ever since. During my senior year of college, I spent the semester in Chicago, and proposed to Maggie after 6 years of dating. We were married on June 24, 2023, and have been enjoying our lives together ever since.

I hold our marriage very near to my heart. It's truly one of the deepest and most joyous things I've experienced. My marriage has played such a huge role in the level of care that I take with each couple and is a big reason why I love creating wedding films. I pour so much into my films because I know those wedding day moments that you've been looking forward to deserve to be captured. You deserve to be able to feel them over and over again and to share them with those who couldn't be there to witness them.

A LOVE STORY OF MY OWN
